Kalavryta Feta is a favourite, thanks to its distinct, rich taste and its non-negotiable, consistent quality.

Kalavryta PDO Barrel Aged Feta is a traditional product made with pasteurized goat and sheep milk (collected from the broader area of Kalavryta), with consistently high quality.

It matures for about three months and is kept in beechwood barrels with brine. Its taste is rich, spicy, slightly salty, with various aromas, and it is dense. It is mainly consumed as a table cheese, but is also widely used in salads, pies, and other dishes. It pairs well with strong white and red wines or retsina.
